Partnership Opportunities

WIM NEEDS PARTNERS

It takes united effort and inputs by different caring people to get any good work done. At WIM, we are deeply aware that we need God-loving people who have compassion for the hurting to partner with us. We trust God to speak to you, and many others to pitch in with us in this vital work of reaching out to widows and orphans.

Prayer:

First and foremost, we urgently request your prayers. Please pray for Pastor Ruth as she guides WIM, along with the dedicated team supporting her, including district coordinators and our partners. Additionally, pray for doors of provision to open, enabling our vision to unfold.

Small Actions, Big Impact: Become a Volunteer

You can serve & support our programs, be a vital part of Hope of Grace Development Initiative mission by Volunteering to our Activities.

If you would like to partner with this ministry go through the projects list and choose one or more projects to partner with us as the lord enables you. Or it can be one time donation to the ministry.

WIDOW’S CENTER:

We are seeking partners and donors to help establish a       Widow’s Center, a safe home for over 100 abandoned widows who have been traditionary regarded as bad omens, shunned by family  and communities and are forced to leave their homes.

What the Center Will Provide:
Daily meals, fresh fruit, medication, supplements, clothing, healthcare, spiritual support, skills-training, an income-generation resource hub, and partnerships with local businesses for job placement.                                  Your support can transform this vision into a place of hope, dignity, and empowerment, thereby rebuilding lives and restoring communities.

Elderly Home & Land Acquisition

Elderly Home: We are seeking partners to help cover the rent ($300 per month) and the caretakers’ wages ($200 per month). Support a widow project $20 monthly.

Land Acquisition: We need approximately 5 acres of land at $15,000 per acre. This land will be used to build a school, Medical center for the community, homes for orphaned children and elderly widows    without shelter,  a multipurpose hall for vocational training and space for agricultural projects.

MERCY ELDERLY HOME

We care for elderly widows with the love of God, and we thank Mr. David and Le Paris of (POL), USA, for their generous support of Mercy Elderly Home.

Restoring Hope and Dignity to Widows

  • Widows face many serious challenges in their daily lives. Some are abandoned and left without any form of support, while others endure violence and abuse, including rape. Many struggle to access basic necessities such as food, and some are left without safe and secure shelter. These hardships leave widows extremely vulnerable and in urgent need of care, protection, and compassion.

Widows Intercessors Ministries has been reaching out to widows across different parts of Uganda, offering hope and practical support. Through these efforts, we have been able to build shelters for some, provide food and basic necessities, and care for elderly widows at Mercy Elderly Home, which we are currently renting. Due to limited space and resources, not all widows can stay at the home, so some remain in their communities where we continue to support them.

In addition, we provide monthly support to widows who are not residing at Mercy Elderly Home, helping them meet their daily needs and live with dignity.

There is still a great opportunity to reach and help many more widows in need. Your support can truly change a life.
